European backers are asked to use the eu pledge site where the prices are in euros.

I wanted to pledge 48 euros, but it gave the following error:

Code: Select all

Error from gateway:

Invalid currency: eur.
Guess they haven't got the eu portal fully operational yet :P.

Yeah, the site was pretty much down to a crawl about 5 minutes into the announcement with $160000 already collected. I'll wait a few days for things to settle :)

Looks very good!

However i cannot find the number it needs to have and the amount pledged so far anywhere.

Also Im a bit worried if they can pull all the stuff they say they are going to. Pretty lofty dreams.

They have stated that they have investors willing to put in basically $12-$20 million depending on the community interest. And yeah, they have taken the donation counters off for now as the entire site has been switched to a "light" version. I guess they have to spend first contributions in getting some web server hardware...The $160000 counter was last before they downgraded the site to a more static version.

Gotta say this is looking more and more exciting. Even the multiplayer part. Eve online combined with you piloting your own ship, without monthly fees.
