Re: The Raven Council turns Ten! \o/

Oh noes, its Jimmbles!! I didn't miss that one at all! :D. Still scared of that little bugger... Always stabbing my toes and running around like headless chicken. :P Ok, good to know! I'll see what I'll do, rolling a new char for the meeting might be an option too. Though I would really like to see ...

Re: Blizz gold-selling?

I don't see the problem here. Until they don't sell useful stuff for RL money, I'm perfectly fine with it. In theory they already are selling useful stuff in sense of real money -> pet -> gold, which then buys you crafted gear. And if Blizzard really starts selling gold, we have huge inflation on s...

Re: Blizz gold-selling?

Yup, they are testing this how it functions and trying to undermine the gold sellers. I'll say that in a year we have more micro transactions for 2 x XP while questing and stuff like that + direct gold selling for $$.

I wonder when that Diablo 3 real money AH is going to come to WoW...

Perhaps not the sort of sci-fi you're looking for, but Dune (by Frank Herbert) is definitely worth a read.
Thumbs up for this one. I really liked Dune and have read that whole series like 4-5 times.

Re: The Legend Of Drizzt book series

As other fantasy books, check out the "Death gate cycle" from the same authors as the Dragonlance series.
Also the trilogies from Robin Hobb: The Farseer trilogy and The Tawny Man trilogy are worth to read.

Re: WoW rig

Sounds good Alikh. I wonder how the GTX 460 compares to that. I guess other option for me would be the Radeon HD 6850 1 GB since it is in the same price range. What i have been looking from the internet those are quite similar on performance, so i guess its good either way. Now i just need to decide...

Re: WoW rig

too expensive, thats why the AMD is there :). Cheapest i7 is over double the price compared to that one, so thats not really an option.

I might be able to get the i5 750 one, but does it really offer anything worth 70e over the X4 955BE?

I need a new comp for Cata I think :). This current one has served me well over 3 years now, so i guess it is time for it to get some rest. My budget is really limited and I came up with this:

Anything wrong with it? Should something be changed to something else?

The vile things you get in McDonalds shouldn't even count as burgers.
Seconded. Nothing beats home made burgers and sauces. And since its summer, you can BBQ everything you eat, including burgers.
