The Raven Council

...we posted on the news board, and A LOT has happened since. With Discord taking over with many of the day to day communications, it’s no wonder we have been lacking posting news for the website. There is however a few points to adress:





The latest expansion that kicked off The World Soul Saga has kept everyone very busy



• A new expansion

Our players have been actively dungeoning, raiding, questing, collecting and performing all other tasks with great vigor and success since the launch of The War Within expansion. Thanks to all members of the guild who have helped each other make this expansion especially memorable, especially through community driven events such as Quiz-nights or the famed TRC-MDI.

• New Councillors

Lampris and have been promoted to Councillor and been doing an excellent job contributing to the officer group’s duties. Congratulations and thanks for your effort.

• Raids

Raid Group Raven have continuously as both planned and expected kept racking up Ahead of the Curve for every raid tier since our latest news post. Raid Group Raven is currently progressing through the latest raid, Manaforge Omega, with their eyes set on Dimensius in Heroic difficulty mode. Props to the Raid Group Raven Management team and all Raven Raiders who has made it possible.

Raid Group Dodo has also continued their efforts with their Friday night Normal raids. Guild members have played different roles on off-specs and enjoyed the more laid back raiding experience. The team has also found success claiming final boss kills of each raid tier that has been available since our latest news post, and also hosting regular Glory of the Raider achievement runs each tier. Thanks to the Raid Group Dodo Management team and all Dodo Raiders who have contributed to its success.

• On the horizon

With The War Within coming to an end and Midnight being the next expansion, the guild look forward to new intense adventures and experiences together, as well as producing a very exciting and community driven Guild Housing Neighbourhood.







Most importantly, the guild is in the midst of preparing for The Raven Council 20 year anniversary. This celebration will surpass all other previous events, as this anniversary will actually be celebrated outside of the World of Warcraft. The Raven Council 20 year anniversary celebrations will be held IRL in the Netherlands in October 2025 to gather our members, new and old, from all across Europe.

As the last year of 2022 rounded up with the completion of the Shadowlands expansion, the guild was eager to step into the new expansion Dragonflight! The Raven Councils' members have been enjoying the release and the new content, even Pawl managed to get his hands on a copy of the game at last







New expansions arrive with a new dawn. The guild called for a guild meeting on the 28th of January which was well attended. Several members were promoted to the rank of Dark Raven, not only to fill up for some Dark Ravens who has gone on hiatus, but mostly because of their contributions to the guilds well spirited community. Congratulations!







Last but not least, the guild also promoted three members to the rank of Councillors.



Krekandus who has been a steady member for several years and held many well appreciated social events such as his appreciated quiz-nights.

Manatea (Chromaticus in the picture) whos been a member for around 10 years and always been a solid rock of the community.

Frostie (Fritsle in the picture) who since he joined has contributed to the guilds raid teams and dungeon delvers with great confidence and leadership.



Congratulations to all three!









The Raven Council will continue to strive together for new enjoyable experiences within Azeroth with the new year coming along.

The guild has been going strong through the last year. New recruits have added to the ranks and melded in great with the older crowd. The activity in dungeons is strong on a weekly basis where players have been helping each other out in all ranges of difficulties.



The guild gathered for the 16th anniversary of The Raven Council in october last year.



A social event was hosted this year where members of the guild got to vote on their favorite guild members in different categories, and several awards was handed out. Thanks to Cellyca and Kreka for hosting!





The raid group has been periodically active to make sure the tradition of getting Ahead of the Curve kept going. Here is a video of the Sylvanas kill in Sanctum of Domination HC:

The Raven Councils raid group got their first progression kill after a longer break on the 16th of May 2021.

Lady Inerva Darkvein in Mythic difficulty is no more!

Raid Group Raven is continuing it's march through mythic Castle Nathria. Adding the Hungering Destroyer to it's list of killed bosses!







The sight is now squarely on Lady Inerva! Ca-caw!
